In addition, if the beneficiary of the fundahope Platform fundraiser is an NGO with an NGO Contact as a Permanent Fundraiser account, the NGO will have access to the donors’ names only. Therefore, you should take special care in deciding what information you send to us via email. Please keep this in mind when disclosing any information to fundahope via the Internet.

Do Not Track (“DNT”) is a privacy preference that users can set in certain web browsers. We do not recognize or respond to browser initiated DNT signals, as the Internet industry is currently still working toward defining exactly what DNT means, what it means to comply with DNT, and a common approach to responding to DNT.

We will only retain the information for as long as necessary for the purpose for which that information was collected and to the extent permitted or required by applicable laws. When we no longer need to use your information, we will remove it from our systems and records and/or take step to anonymize it so that you can no longer be identified from it in accordance with our internal document retention policies.

When determining the retention period, we take into account various criteria, such as the type of products and services requested by you or that you are provided with by us, the nature and length of our relationship with you, possible re-enrolment with our products or services, the impact on the services we provide you with if we delete some information about you, mandatory retention periods provided by law and the statute of limitations.

For more information about your rights if you are in Europe, please see the "Users in Europe" section below.

The Platform is hosted in the Republic of Lebanon. If you are visiting the Platform from outside the Republic of Lebanon, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored and processed in the Republic of Lebanon where our servers are located and our central database is operated. Data protection and other laws of the Republic of Lebanon and other countries might not be as comprehensive as those in your country. By using the Platform, you consent to your information being transferred to our facilities and to the facilities of those third parties with whom we share it as described in this Policy.

If you are located in Europe, you have the right to ask for an overview of the information we process about you and for a copy of your information. In addition, you may request that we update and correct inaccuracies, delete your information, restrict processing of your information, or exercise your right to data portability to easily transfer your information to another company. In some cases, you may object to the processing of your information, and whenever we ask for and obtain your consent to process your information, you can withdraw it at any time. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on consent before its withdrawal. The above rights may be limited under applicable law.

Marketing opt out. Each marketing communication we send you will contain instructions permitting you to "opt out" of receiving future marketing communications. In addition, if at any time you do not wish to receive any future marketing communications or you wish to have your name deleted from our mailing lists, please contact us at the email address or postal address set forth under "Contacting fundahope". If you opt out of receiving marketing communications or other information we think may interest you, we can still send you emails about your account or any Services you have requested or received from us.

You can make a request to exercise any of these rights in relation to your information by sending the request to us at the email address or mailing address set forth under "Contacting Fundahope". If you disagree with our revisions to the Policy, you can deactivate your account or discontinue the use of our Services. Please review this Policy periodically for any updates or changes.
