Mountaineer Rami Rasamny takes on a new record for a cause!

Rami successfully ran from the South to the North of Lebanon, covering 470 Km in 7 days. Additionally, he challenged himself to run up and down Kilimanjaro (5895 km) in 14 hours. This time, he ran for "Mission Lebanon" to support Chef Tina Wazirian with food distribution throughout Lebanon. With your donations, we were able to make that difference!

A total of $7,620 has been raised, surpassing the initial goal of 5,895$

Together LiBeirut is holding the 19.8 Beirut Global Sports Challenge to keep the needs of Beirut on top of everyone’s mind and to raise funds for its ongoing work. THE 19.8 BEIRUT CHALLENGE The 19.8 Beirut Global Sports Challenge invites all Lebanese and Lebanon lovers around the world to practice the sport of their choice over a minimal target of 19.8 km, lapses, summits, etc.., as the area of Beirut is 19.8 km2. Each participants will then become a partner with TLB and help us raise funds for our mission from their network of friends and family. ABOUT TOGETHER LIBEIRUT Together LiBeirut, meaning For Beirut, is a collaborative campaign dedicated to a sustainable recovery of Lebanon's capital following the devastating explosion of its port on August 4, 2020. Our aim is to revive the socio-economic fabric of Beirut’s neighborhoods by facilitating access to healthcare and mental health services, promoting heritage preservation, and offering comprehensive support to businesses to protect livelihoods. Contribute to the full restoration of 6 heritage buildings and a public space in hard hit Gemmayze. Rehabilitate and provide capacity building to 25 MSMEs to ensure their sustainability and protect jobs.

The Glow Paradise has collaborated with the prized athlete Jennifer Tomazou, who will be running across Lebanon, from Saida to Tripoli over the span of 3 days with one purpose only in mind: to raise as much money as possible for the Early Childhood Intervention Lebanon Center (ECIL). ECIL is determined to help children with developmental delays or disabilities under 3 years of age, empowering them to meet their full potential as they grow up, whether that's physically, socially or psychologically.

One ball One family from Kenya to Lebanon

Alive&Kicking and AFF: Founded in 2020 by Dorian Colombani and O'neal MAOUKOLA, the academy is a brand of C&M Sports Management, it provides education through soccer and helps share the "made in France" know-how. With the French Football Academy ME, players receive more than just training, they receive an education through sport. Our mission is to build the future. We work to push our players to give their best, through a purposeful educational environment that focuses on living together. Alive & Kicking: Alive and Kicking is an NGO that manufactures sports balls to provide balls for children, create jobs for adults and promote health education through sport. It states its vision as being of 'an Africa where every child can play with a real ball, where thousands of jobs are sustained in the production of balls, and where sport contributes to the eradication of deadly disease The project with the NGO Alive & Kicking: The AFF community was sensitized on the struggles led by the NGO A&K and has prepared designs, one of which has been elected best design and will be the ball ordered in 100 copies. They will be distributed in a fair way: - To the Académie Francaise de Football- Other academies in need of equipment - Families in need of funds: 50 balls to 50 families The fundraising will allow financing the purchase of 100 balls or more that will be re-distributed in Lebanon.

Together LiBeirut is holding the second edition of the 19.8 Beirut Global Sports Challenge to keep moving for our city, and keep the needs of Lebanon in everyone's mind. Inspired by 19.8km2, the distance area of our vibrant capital, the 19.8 Beirut Global Sports Challenge invites all Lebanese and Lebanon lovers around the world to practice the sport of their choice over a target of 19.8 or 198, km, meters, laps, minutes etc. This global solidarity movement will unite athletes, Lebanese and Lebanon lovers worldwide on Oct 1 & 2 , to share their challenge, spread the word and help raise funds for the ongoing mission of Together LiBeirut across Lebanon: Build the capacity of our healthcare networks: Empower 3 networks of hospitals and primary health care centers with energy solutions and allow access to medication and hospitalization to 1,750 vulnerable patients Promote mental health: Offer free mental health treatment and awareness to 30,000 individuals focusing on youth Protect our livelihoods: Create 4 manufacturing hubs across Lebanon and support 28 businesses Preserve our heritage: Rehabilitate the Saint Nicolas cluster of 4 buildings and the iconic stairs ABOUT TOGETHER LIBEIRUT Together LiBeirut is a collaborative platform where experts, nonprofits, and social innovators partner to design and implement sustainable solutions to pressing socio- economic needs in Lebanon.
